Spring / Summer, 2009 NewsWelcome Back!The new year of 2009 brings many changes to Painted Canvas Designs that we hope you will find as exciting as we do. After years on the road, Jeanne and I have decided to hang up our traveling show and concentrate on Open Houses and web sales. Many of our long time and dedicated customers know this was a difficult decision based upon health conditions that don’t mesh well with the rigors of the art circuit. Instead, we are embracing this by offering you a more intimate and personal home shopping experience by inviting you into our home by hosting three Open Houses in 2009. The first will be MARCH 20th and 21st, 2009 from 1pm to 7pm and we have again invited guest artists Cathy Adams and Mary Janik of Uneek Tekneeks and Laura Boeck-Singers to join us. We’ve known all three of these artists for several years and their work is simply outstanding. Don’t forget if you took the opportunity last October or December to see us at our Special Events you can redeem your Special Event cards for $35.00 at the March Open House. Don’t forget that your Special Event card needed to reach all five punches by the December 2008 event! Look for our March mailing by the end of February 2009 and save those dates! In addition, come in March to pick up a postcard to receive the dates for October and December or see the Special Event section of our website and mark those dates in advance on your calendars! We’ll also be updating the website as frequently as possible and encourage you to contact us if you’d like to purchase online or make arrangements to pickup items between Open Houses. We will jury for Early American Life 2009 soon and if you have any suggestions of 2008 designs you think we should jury with please feel free to email them to me. I’ll certainly take your suggestions into account. We look forward to seeing you in March with great Chicks,
