Fall / Winter News, 2009
Welcome Fall! Welcome Winter!
The changing of the seasons brings so much fun and
anticipation. The leaves are already showing some of their
color and caramel apples appear at our favorite markets.
Before we know it glowing pumpkins will dance on our doorsteps
and then the smells of Thanksgiving will be gracing our homes.
AND shortly after that, Santa will make his rounds down the
chimney with something special. (I hope!)
Don’t forget to join us this October 16th
and 17th and December 4th and 5th for our Annual Open
Houses. Bring your specially marked postcard with you and
receive 10% off your entire purchase! Look for them
arriving in your mailboxes soon.
This year we have invited two new artists to join us – Wendy and
Heather of Two Flakes. Wendy and Heather use Swarovski
crystals to create beautiful snowflakes, words expressions,
candy canes and swags for the holidays. All their
creations are one-of-a-kind and simply breathtaking. We
hope you’ll take this opportunity to stop in and “catch” one of
their snowflakes for the winter season.
We are proud to announce that “Captain John Smith”, to your
right, was chosen for the 2009 Early American Life Magazine’s
Holiday Edition. That makes us one of their Traditional
Craftsman of the year for 4 years in a row. We are
featured this year as well and we think it is the best
photograph to date. The magazine should be on sale now at
large booksellers. Look for us on page 62.
On a last note, we still have a few collectible Gingerbread
House and Painted Canvas Design items from the Estate Sale that
we will be showing at the Open Houses. This is your
opportunity to snap up something you missed from the past!
We look forward to seeing you soon.
